Over 100 board-certified veterinary specialists from around the world collaborated to develop the Reassessment Campaign on Veterinary Resuscitation (RECOVER) evidence-based veterinary CPR guidelines. Two of RECOVER’s leaders have designed these courses with the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine for veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and students to learn the core veterinary CPR skills needed to increase survival rates in animals experiencing cardiopulmonary arrest.
We are offering the first face to face opportunity in Australia in two years which will allow attendees to complete RECOVER Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) Certification. This will be achieved through online pre-learning (videos, assignments and quizzes) and a face to face practical workshop including minimal lecture material with a focus on hands-on team-based learning of what to do in code situations in practice.
This workshop will be facilitated by Trish Farry, Mark Haworth, Margie McEwen and Gary Fitzgerald.
