The Gilruth Prize is the AVA's most prestigious award. It is awarded to members and non-members for quality of service to the veterinary profession service. 

Please have ready:

  • Nominee's name and contact details.
  • Qualifications (if applicable)
  • Previous prizes/awards
  • Current AVA member and year joined  
  • Abridged but informative CV
  • Quality of service to the veterinary profession
  • Duration of contribution
  • Impact on veterinary profession in Australia
  • Diversity of service to the veterinary profession
  • Other information to contribute to the nomination
  • Citation of no more than 300 words
